
Upcoming Sessions
Welcome! Lake Norman Lynx will be offering 3 practices per week during the fall season, and drop-ins will also be accepted after registering with the club. Practices will be held on Tuesdays (7pm @ Catalyst Athletic Rehab), Thursdays (7pm @ Spartan Park), and Sundays (4:30pm @ Spartan Park) unless otherwise directed.
Our focus is as follows:
- Sprints: We will target our sprint training primarily on getting faster. Top end speed is the key to any sprint and hurdle race. This will be accomplished through a combination of sprints, mobility, and strength work. Additionally, sprinters with a technical/field event like hurdles or jumps will have time to work on those after the sprint portion of the workout is complete.
- Distance: With the fall cross country season in full swing, we will have some flexibility with our distance group. We follow a very individualized approach to training at LKN Lynx TC, so we can make it work for you. Just talk to Coach Karin about it and we'll work it out!
